A significant amount of energy savings was projected prior to the installation, and we now have power bills for the last three months indicating reduced power consumption of 35%. In fact, the savings have been so significant that a representative of Dominion Virginia Power recently made an unannounced visit to our plant to ensure there wasn't some problem with the power meters. I did not realize how much energy the old style light fixtures wasted. Many of our four lamp overhead fixtures were replaced with two lamp fixtures equipped with reflectors.
